| Garden vouchers: well-being. |
We’ve just had Chelsea and our summer gardens are in full bloom, so perhaps it’s no surprise that one of the success stories of the rewards and motivation industry is National Garden Gift Vouchers (NGGV). They’ve just announced that corporate sales have increased 33% year on year.
Culture shift
This figure mirrors a culture shift to more ‘well-being’ or ‘green’ reward options which is not only being steered by organisations, but by staff themselves. In a recent survey of businesses using NGGV in their rewards programmes, 23% cited employee demand as the reason for their inclusion and 40% felt that the gardening/environmental theme was suitable and beneficial for their staff and organisation.
Reaching out
‘We are finding more and more that staff want rewards that give them a sense of well-being and tick the environmental box at the same time. Motivational incentives such as National Garden Gift Vouchers reach out to a large percentage of the working population because they are truly inspirational and provide so many options for staff and their families to enjoy their garden or outdoor space.’ NGGV marketing manager David Butler claims.
The gift vouchers are available for consumers to purchase and redeem in garden centres and gardening outlets. They are accepted at over 2,000 leading gardening outlets across the UK, on over 90,000 different gardening related products. They are also available for use as part of staff incentive and reward schemes.
