Marketing and PR firm Context has teamed up with marketing automation specialist Profunnel to offer clients a one-stop lead generation service that will complement existing media relations and communications programmes. With the new partnership Profunnel will set up a sophisticated web-based service that ranks website visitors according to the frequency and manner in which they interact with the client’s site. Cutting edge technology identifies who is on the website, when, what they are looking at and flags up when they return to the site, allowing sales people to contact those showing high levels of intent. High scoring leads are then offered personalised, timely and relevant information such as case studies, white papers and promotional offers; an approach that is more effective than unstructured email blasts and cold calling.
